We respect copyright and respond to valid notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Reporting infringement
If you believe content on a server we host infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent with all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- The copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The infringing material and where it is, for example the server address and file name, detailed enough for us to find it.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for the owner.
Notices that leave out these details may not be valid. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages.

What happens next
When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable access to the material and tell the customer responsible, including a copy of the notice.
Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you can send our designated agent a counter-notice with:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- The material that was removed and where it was before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district where we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
We forward valid counter-notices to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.
Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of customers who repeatedly infringe copyright.
