We collect what we need to run your server and bill you, and nothing more. We do not sell your data, show you ads or use tracking analytics.

Who is responsible for your data

New Life Host, a sole proprietorship based in Texas, United States, is responsible for your data. Contact us about privacy at support@newlifehost.com.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash), plus any billing details you choose to add.
Payment details: payments are handled by our payment provider (such as Stripe or PayPal). We never see or store your full card number. We receive the payment result and limited details such as the card brand and last four digits.
Orders and invoices: what you bought, when, and what you paid.
Support: the messages you send in tickets and emails.
Technical data: IP addresses, browser type, sign-in times and activity logs on the website and game panel, used to keep accounts secure.
Your server: the files you upload and create, console output, and the Minecraft usernames, UUIDs and in-game data of players who join your server. We store this only to run your server for you.
Discord: if you link your account to our Discord server, your Discord user ID and username.

How we use it

To create and run your account and servers.
To take payments, send invoices and keep tax records.
To answer support requests.
To send service emails, such as invoices, password resets and important notices. We only send marketing emails if you have agreed to them, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
To keep the services secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
To meet our legal obligations.

Cookies

We only use cookies that the site needs to work: keeping you signed in, protecting forms against forgery, and remembering your cart. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Who we share it with

We share data only with services that help us run New Life Host, and only what they need:

Server and infrastructure providers who host our machines.
Payment providers (such as Stripe or PayPal) to process payments. They have their own privacy policies.
Google: our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and the game panel's sign-in page uses Google reCAPTCHA to block bots. Both receive your IP address and browser details.
Discord, if you choose to link your account.
Authorities when the law requires it, or when needed to protect people or our services.
A future owner of the business, if it is ever sold. This policy would continue to protect your data.

We do not sell your personal data or share it for targeted advertising.

How long we keep it

Account details: while your account is open, and then up to 12 months after you close it.
Invoices and payment records: 7 years, for tax purposes.
Server files: deleted when a service ends (see the Terms of Service), including from backups we control within 30 days.
Email logs: 90 days. Security and activity logs: up to 12 months.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
correct anything that is wrong;
delete your data, except what we must keep by law (such as tax records); and
stop sending you marketing emails.

Email support@newlifehost.com from the address on your account. We will reply within 45 days. If we turn down your request, you can ask us to reconsider by replying to our answer. Residents of some places, including Texas, California and the EU or UK, have extra rights under local law, and you can also complain to your local regulator.

Children

Our services are not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

Security

We protect data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, restricted access and regular updates. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Where your data is stored

Our servers may be in the United States, Europe or other countries. Wherever your data is stored, we protect it as this policy describes.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the client area before the change takes effect.
