Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated October 10, 2026
Your server is shared infrastructure with other people's servers. These rules keep it safe, legal and fast for everyone.
What our servers are for
New Life Host servers are for running Minecraft servers and the tools that support them, such as plugins, mods, proxies like Velocity, Discord bridges and map renderers. Ask us first if you want to run something else.
What you must not do
- Host, share or link to anything illegal, including child sexual abuse material. We report that material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to the police, and we end the account immediately.
- Break copyright, for example by running cracked or pirated plugins, mods or server software, or by sharing content you do not have the rights to.
- Attack, scan or overload any system, including denial-of-service attacks, booters and stressers, port scanning, brute-forcing passwords or exploiting vulnerabilities.
- Try to get into another customer's server, files or account, or into our systems, beyond what you are allowed to use.
- Run malware, botnets, phishing pages, spam, open proxies, VPN or tunnelling services, or crypto mining.
- Use the server mainly for something other than Minecraft, such as file storage, bandwidth resale or unrelated bots, without our permission.
- Deliberately use resources in a way that harms other customers. Plans include fair, normal use of the CPU, disk and network they list.
- Harass, threaten, dox or abuse people, including our staff.
- Break the Minecraft EULA or Mojang's usage guidelines.
- Resell our services without our written permission.
Your players
You are responsible for what happens on your server, including what your players and staff do. Moderate your community and remove illegal content when you find it or are told about it.
How we enforce this
Depending on how serious it is, we may warn you, remove the content, limit resources, suspend the service or close the account. When there is an immediate risk to people, our systems or other customers, we may act without warning. Services ended for breaking this policy are not refunded.
Reporting abuse
To report abuse coming from a New Life Host server, email abuse@newlifehost.com with the server address, what happened, when (including your time zone) and any evidence. For copyright complaints, follow our Copyright & DMCA process.
